Paul’s Letter to the Galatians was written to correct false teaching in some of the churches the Apostle Paul had planted. This false teaching threatened to undermine the message upon which the hope of the world rested.
Paul opens this letter by expressing his love for the Galatians. He then goes on to give a summary of his conviction concerning the glorious truth of the gospel. His conviction concerning the gospel and his love for these Christians together cause him to be gravely concerned about false teaching that is affecting them.
